Summary
The collected articles include 6 thematic parts.
The first one presents brief historical review of bat investigations
in Ukraine and works of the Ukrainian Chiropterological Center.
The second part is dedicated to estimation of specific structure
of the Ukrainian bat fauna, protected categories of species and
problems of specific diagnostics. The third part was dedicated to
estimation of the specific composition of the bat fauna on reserved
territories, and the next one, closely associated with the previous
part, considers the specific bat fauna structure of the big administrative
and natural districts (Podillya, Polissya, Slobodzhanska Ukraine
etc.) with the analysis of historical changes in distribution and
quantity of bats, data according to the bat census in cave winter
roosts, and summer registration using detector. The reference part
presents new updated point of view on bat scientific names, data
on protected categories of bats, addresses of the advanced theriologists,
and thematic bibliography.
